About Canan Ermen-Arkan

As head of European coordination with Mindspire Tutoring, Canan Ermen-Arkan offers students and their families consulting services focused on the admission system for US universities. Canan Ermen-Arkan also provides international schools with advisory services related to preparing for SAT and ACT tests and optimal strategies for college applications.

Ms. Ermen-Arkan’s entrepreneurial activities include owning and operating two KUMON Deutschland centers in Cologne, Germany. In addition to supervising a total enrollment of 150 students, she manages English and math enrichment programs. Classes taught at the tutoring franchise are designed to improve academic skills as well as independence and self-confidence among young learners.

Ms. Ermen-Arkan earned her undergraduate degree in international relations and affairs from Ankara University and has a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Averett University, Danville, VA. She founded C & F Consulting in 1995 and led the procurement and export enterprise for nearly a decade prior to selling it at a significant profit. Respected in her field, Canan Ermen-Arkan has lectured and instructed in a number of corporate and university settings over the years.
